The Investors Group Walk for Alzheimer’s is Burnaby and New Westminster’s fun and family-friendly event that brings the community together and raises vital funds for the Alzheimer Society of B.C.

When you walk, you make memories matter. You honour people who have passed and acknowledge the work that must be done to ensure help and hope for the people living with the disease today. Each year we honour a member of the Burnaby and New Westminster community who has been affected by dementia or who has valuably contributed to the lives of people living with the disease.

Why fundraise for Alzheimer Society of B.C.?

The funds you raise through the Investors Group Walk for Alzheimer’s ensures the estimated 70,000 British Columbians who are living dementia and their families have access to support, education and information. Funds raised will also enable research into the causes of and cures for dementia.

It takes courage and leadership to break down stigma and take steps to build a society that is friendlier, more accepting and more supportive of people living with dementia. Through your support and fundraising, we are able to bring B.C. a step closer to becoming a truly dementia-friendly province.
