Fight back against Alzheimer's Disease
Imagine losing your most cherished memories, having speech disturbances, being completely reliant on those around you, forgetting your loved ones and losing your own personal identity. This nightmare is reality for 1 in 20 Canadians over the age of 65 and 1 in 4 Canadians over the age of 85. Alzheimer’s Disease is a debilitating condition that is distinguished by progressive mental deterioration and the loss of cognitive function. It presents itself as memory failure, disorientation, restlessness, agnosia, behavior disturbances and causes dependence. As the average age of population increases there will be a steady incline in the amount of people diagnosed with this debilitating disease. However, we can all work together to combat the personal and social hardships that are caused by this disease.
By making a donation to me, you are helping the Alzheimer Society to continue its important work towards a world without Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
Thank you again for your kind and generous support.
