Welcome to My Participant Page
Another year has come and gone for us and many good memories made, please see below and help if possible once again. It is my same story but it holds true each year.
It will be 7 years this “Family Day” weekend that we lost my father-in-law (and a good friend) Harvey Brett to complications from Alzheimer’s. Fact is we began losing him about 2 years prior as his memories and thoughts faded and then were gone . When someone loses the memories of a love one and even to the point where your families faces are no longer recognizable as someone they know; That is one of the worst things that can happen to any of us. As we all know our memories are to be cherished and hopefully bring smiles to us thinking of past events, Wedding Days, Birth of your first child or grandchild or the day you taught that child to ride a bike or even drive a car……..precious memories lost.
We need to find a way to end this disease and assist those with it and their families. I will be asking for your help again by pledging/donating to me while my family and I participate in the 2018 Alzheimer’s Walk for Memories (in doors).
Again THANK YOU so much in advance for your kind and generous support.
