Join the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s online! Walk Your Way throughout the month of May to show your support for those that have been impacted by the disease.

We have all felt the impacts of the pandemic this past year—the uncertainty, the fatigue and the isolation. One group in particular that has been significantly impacted are those in our province living with dementia and their families.

While we will miss being together in-person this year, we still have activities and special touch points planned throughout the month of May. As you fundraise, we will be there every step of the way to support you and cheer you on. Be sure to keep an eye out for email updates or follow us on social media to stay up to date on activities, special surprises and prizes.

Why fundraise for the Alzheimer Society of NB?

There are currently 15,000 people in New Brunswick living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, and behind each of them stands a small army of friends, family and caregivers. While our ultimate vision is a world without dementia, that vision begins with a world where people living with the disease are welcomed, acknowledged and included.

People affected by dementia have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. When you fundraise for the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s, you ensure that people affected by dementia continue to have access to the support, education and information offered by the Alzheimer Society of NB. Your support offers hope.

Collecting donations offline?

The way we connect throughout the month of May will be online, but the way you support us doesn’t have to be! If someone is not able or not comfortable making a donation online, we are still accepting cash and cheque donations, and processing credit card donations via phone. Download the pledge form and ensure that your donors’ information is filled out correctly so they can receive a tax receipt.

We will be complying with all Public Health requirements and guidelines and ask that you do the same. To keep up-to-date with the current restrictions please consult the Government of New Brunswick’s website here.
