Ceremony and Walk for Alzheimer's

Sunday, May 27, let us join together for a unifying event

NEW: The march will be preceded by a big ceremony at St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica featuring Gregory Charles

The artist, whose two parents have been affected by Alzheimer's disease, will make a testimony of his experience as a caregiver followed by few  songs. During the tribute ceremony, a symbolic gesture will be made as a sign of love to people with the disease and in memory of those who have died as a result of it. We will take, together, a moment of meditation to turn our minds towards these people. Afterwards, we will walk together for a 3 km walk in the streets of Sherbrooke.

12pm: Opening  and welcome at the Basilica-Cathedral Saint-Michel. Visit the various kiosks.
1 pm: Opening of the doors of the Basilica-Cathedral Saint-Michel
1:30 pm: Ceremony inside the Cathedral Basilica featuring Gregory Charles
3 pm: Start of the 3 km walk
3:45 pm: Return of the march and closing the event

$ 15 per person (including ceremony & Walk)
$ 30 per family (2 adults and 2 children living at the same address / price including ceremony and Walk)
The event is presented by and chaired by Mr. Eddy Savoie, Founding President of Groupe Savoie - Les résidences Soleil
